The boys, who range from age 13 to 17, have been training hard with rugby director and former professional Nicolas Sestaret at Taunton School, and will be playing throughout the season at clubs including Exeter Chiefs and Bristol Bears.

Nicolas says: “We are really proud that so many students have been selected to play for these distinguished academies. It is a reflection of all the hard work we have been doing in school developing them as rugby players and it will give them invaluable experience of playing at the highest level for their age group. COVID-19 has disrupted training by not allowing us to play contact rugby but all players have remained positive and focused on improving skills and fitness.”
